SERVICE TIMES WILL CHANGE TO 9:00 AM & 10:45 AM STARTING NOVEMBER 4
Going to church might not be the first thing you think about on any given weekend; but if you are considering coming to Granite Church here are some things you should expect.
We are expecting you!
That’s right, we are expecting guests even if you have never been to a church before. We are looking forward to answering any questions you may have and if you want to lay low, you should be able to easily find your way around without having to talk with anyone.
Safe Environment for Kids.
We understand how important your kids are to you, we have kids too. The kids rooms are safe, staffed by volunteers who have completed background checks and safety training. Our check in system ensures only you can pick up your child. If you have questions about any of our processes, we’d be happy to explain them to you on your first Sunday with us.
We understand it might be intimidating to try church out for the first time. That is why we’ll make the experience as comfortable as possible. We’ll do our best to let you know what is going to happen before it does. We’ll explain all that we do as clearly as we can. We’ll make ourselves available to help you figure out answers to any questions you may have. Come as you are, there is no dress code. And at no time will you be singled out as being new.
Whether you have been to church before or you just have assumptions as to what church is like, we think you’ll find us different than what is in your head. You can try us out a few times and see if Granite is a good fit for you and your family. If not, no worries, we’ll still say hi in the grocery store and chat with you at ball games.
We are excited you are considering attending on a Sunday in the near future. We don’t think there is a better place in the area to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ than at Granite. See you soon!
We meet at the West Sioux High School in Hawarden, IA. We use the east entrance to the building that is easiest accessed from the east side parking lot. Once you get close you’ll see signs along the major roads that will guide you to the proper place.
Each service will be about 60 minutes long. You'll have plenty of time to get home to watch the game or race.
If you miss a Sunday or if you want a sneak peak at what a Sunday service is like before you come, you can watch a service here!
